Linc Setup

The ProduceLinc Setup page is the central configuration point for all ProduceLinc behaviour. Settings here control how pallet data is imported and validated, how produce bills are generated and calculated, how freight and trading operations work, and how the system connects to external cloud storage locations.

This article provides a summary of each setup section. Follow the links below for detailed guidance on individual settings.

Sections

Number Series Setup Defines the automatic numbering series used for each ProduceLinc document type — freight trips, containers, produce orders, produce bills, pallet lots, and more.

Pallet Files Setup Controls how incoming pallet data files are processed and validated during import and confirmation, including mandatory field checks, quantity rounding, pallet height defaults, and export file reference formats.

Cloud Storage Setup Covers the three cloud storage locations used by ProduceLinc: pallet file storage, loading instruction storage, and freight document storage. Each requires an account name, container name, and security access key.

Pallet Production Controls whether production input is tracked at batch level or at individual pallet lot level when pallets are repacked or processed.

Pallet Allocation Setup Controls how pallets are assigned to outbound and transfer orders, including produce order validation rules, loading instruction generation, sample split behaviour, and optional integrations such as Vitrax and Produce Shipments.

Freight Setup Controls freight management behaviour, including strict freight point validation, the in-transit freight point, SOLAS weight certification methods, and default document titles.

Phytclean Integration Connection credentials for the Phytclean phytosanitary certification service.

Produce Trades Setup Controls exchange rate behaviour, currency restrictions, sales deferral, intercompany trade processing, and default document titles for produce trade transactions.

Produce Bills Setup Controls how produce bills are generated, grouped, calculated, and posted — including bill grouping configuration, advance and cost bill behaviour, charge calculation rules, and bulk posting options.

Pallet Archive Controls the date filter applied to financial fields on pallet lines when the pallet line archive is rebuilt, and whether a full pallet transaction history log is maintained.
