General Setup

This article covers three sections of ProduceLinc Setup that each contain a small number of settings: Pallet Production, Phytclean Integration, and Pallet Archive.

Pallet Production

Lot Specific Production

Controls how production input is tracked when pallets are repacked or processed.

  • OFF (default — batch-level): All input pallets used in a single production run are grouped together under a single production batch code. Simpler tracking, suitable when you don’t need to trace which specific input pallet contributed to which output.
  • ON (lot-level): Each input pallet is tracked individually through production. Output pallets remember which exact input pallet lot they came from. Enables precise pallet-to-pallet traceability — useful when investigating quality issues or managing recalls.

Phytclean Integration

ProduceLinc can connect to the Phytclean system, which verifies that produce meets phytosanitary (plant health) certification requirements for export.

  • Username — The login name for the Phytclean service
  • Password — The password for the Phytclean service
  • Season — The season code used when querying Phytclean (phytosanitary certificates are issued per season)

Pallet Archive

Pal. Archive Date Filter Calc.

A date formula that controls the posting date filter applied to financial fields on pallet lines when the pallet line archive is rebuilt (via the Archive Pallet Lines process).

When the archive rebuild runs, the system calculates an end date by applying this formula to the current work date. That date is then used as a date filter on the pallet line’s financial fields before their values are read and written to the archive record. The affected fields include Income (LCY), Invoice Discounts (LCY), Income Costs (LCY), Commission (LCY), Costs (LCY), Standard Commission (LCY), Standard Costs (LCY), Produce Cost (LCY), and related fields.

Example: If the formula is set to resolve to the last day of the previous month — say end of April — then the archive record for each pallet line will reflect the financial values as at 30 April. Only ledger entries posted up to and including that date are included in the field calculations written to the archive.

If left blank, no date filter is applied and the fields include all entries regardless of posting date.

Log Pallet Transaction History

  • OFF (default): Pallet changes are not individually logged.
  • ON: Every action taken on a pallet is recorded in a detailed transaction history log. Logged events include imports, confirmations, allocations, deallocations, trading operations, quality grading, movements, and more. The full history for any pallet can be viewed at any time.

Note

Enabling this setting can have a significant impact on system performance.
